Noma Collective
Noma Collective is a premium coliving travel program that runs 3-to-4-week editions for remote workers and digital nomads in destinations across Asia, Latin America, Europe, and Africa. Founded in 2019 and now operating Hacker Paradise under the same umbrella, it combines reliable remote work infrastructure with an active community programme and a consistently high-rated guest experience — 4.8 stars on Google.
What It Is
Noma Collective organises what it calls “Editions” — curated trips of 22 to 29 days in a single destination, taking a group of up to 25 remote workers through a programme of work, cultural immersion, and community building. Each edition is all-inclusive: accommodation (shared rooms, private rooms, and premium suites are available at different price points), all meals, coworking infrastructure, and a full schedule of optional experiences led by on-site and local community managers. The minimum stay is two weeks.
The Experience
The daily structure at Noma Collective balances productive work hours with optional programming that makes real use of each destination. Mornings are work-first — Wi-Fi and workspace are treated as non-negotiable. Afternoons and evenings open into a programme that past guests describe as the core of the value: guided cultural experiences, workshops, excursions, community dinners, and the informal bonding that comes from living alongside a small group of curious, professionally diverse people for a month. An alumni Slack network and specialist community managers extend the connection well beyond the edition itself.
The Space
Noma selects accommodation appropriate to each destination rather than operating a fixed venue. Properties are chosen for quality, atmosphere, and proximity to what makes each location worth visiting. Shared rooms, private rooms, and premium suites are offered at different price tiers within the same edition, allowing guests to choose comfort level without separating from the community. The 2026 calendar includes Seoul, Lima, Puerto Escondido, and Oaxaca, among others.
Who It Is For
Noma Collective attracts remote workers who want significant depth from their travel — people who are not satisfied moving through destinations solo and find the combination of structured community and genuine cultural access more valuable than going independently. The programme works equally well for first-time extended travellers and experienced nomads returning for their fifth or tenth edition. Alumni frequently describe the network they built through Noma as one of the more valuable long-term outcomes of participating.
Location Highlights
The 2026 calendar includes a strong Latin America and Asia focus. Guanacaste in Costa Rica offers Pacific surf and dry-forest landscapes in a country consistently ranked among the world’s happiest. Bali delivers volcanic scenery, a deep wellness culture, and a developed infrastructure for remote workers that makes it one of the most comfortable digital nomad bases in Southeast Asia. Seoul adds urban intensity — world-class food, architecture, and nightlife — to a calendar that balances nature-heavy and city-heavy destinations across the year.

Work with a Rotating Global Destinations Rhythm
Tested per destination connection · 50+ Mbps
Premium coliving with reliable coworking infrastructure in every destination. Meals included — group dinners and community cooking are part of the experience.
The Vibe
Mornings are sacred work time — everyone settles into the coworking area and the WiFi holds up. Lunch is served communally, which is where most of the group bonding actually happens. Afternoons split between more work and optional excursions. Evenings are group dinners, cultural outings, or just hanging out at the accommodation.
Weekends are built around the destination — surf trips in Costa Rica, temple visits in Bali, street food tours in Seoul. The community manager organizes at least one major excursion per weekend, but there's no pressure to join.
Living in Rotating Global Destinations
Noma Collective picks destinations where the combination of culture, climate, and infrastructure creates something worth spending a month on. The current calendar features Guanacaste (Costa Rica) and Bali — two very different places that both deliver on the outdoor-lifestyle-plus-decent-WiFi equation.
Guanacaste is Costa Rica's Pacific northwest — dry season runs November through April, with hot days, reliable surf, and sunsets that actually live up to the Instagram photos. The area around Tamarindo and Nosara has enough restaurants and services to be comfortable without being overdeveloped. A casado (rice, beans, protein, salad) runs about 3,000-5,000 CRC (5-9 USD), a beer is 2,000-3,000 CRC, and the pace is fundamentally unhurried. You'll need a car or the Noma shuttle to get around.
Bali — specifically the Canggu-Ubud corridor — has been a nomad base for over a decade and the infrastructure shows it. Coworking spaces, healthy restaurants, and fast internet are standard. A warung lunch costs 30,000-50,000 IDR (about 2-3 EUR), a Bintang beer is 35,000 IDR, and a private villa with a pool can be rented for 500-800 EUR/month. The Noma edition handles all of this for you, but knowing the baseline helps gauge the value.
Surf at Playa Grande (Guanacaste)
Consistent beach break with warm water year-round. Boards and lessons available from local surf schools in Tamarindo, 15 minutes away.
Ubud Rice Terraces (Bali)
The Tegallalang terraces are the classic shot, but the Jatiluwih terraces (UNESCO World Heritage) are less crowded and more impressive.
Monteverde Cloud Forest (Costa Rica)
A misty mountain reserve with hanging bridges, wildlife, and some of the best birdwatching in Central America. Day trip from Guanacaste.

What Guests Say
This was my first group trip and honestly, I was lucky to have such amazing people around to make it an unforgettable experience. Sarah, our community manager, worked her butt off to plan each day and make the most of our time. Great communication about the daily social events and activities outside
Behold, most excellent peoples! This is a true story of 17 totally random strangers who were, like, most righteously gathered together to live at a resort in Belize. You know the deal: find out what happens when people stop being polite and that shit start getten real… And yet—whoa. NONE of that bo
Had an amazing time with wonderful people. Such a great way to “solo” travel with people. Everything is so well thought out, it’s like being on a pre planned vacation! Sarah is absolutely incredible. So welcoming and really helpful. She also does a great job of connecting with everyone, even when i
This review is really about Sarah, the on-site community manager who supported us for three weeks on a Noma Collective trip in Belize. Sarah was exceptional. She didn’t just manage logistics, she held the entire experience. Group activities, excursions, transportation, last-minute changes, and all
The Honest Briefing
For Guanacaste, fly into Liberia (LIR) — transfers to the coast take 45-90 minutes. For Bali, fly into Ngurah Rai (DPS) and expect 60-90 minutes to Canggu depending on traffic. Noma typically arranges group airport transfers, but check with your edition manager. In Costa Rica, Kolbi SIM cards are cheapest. In Bali, Telkomsel (by.U) gives you solid 4G for about 100,000 IDR/month.

Common Questions
What's the WiFi like?
50+ Mbps minimum, tested before each edition launches. If the accommodation's internet isn't reliable enough, Noma sets up a backup connection or arranges nearby coworking access.
What's included in the price?
Everything except flights: accommodation, all meals, coworking, community programming, excursions, and local transportation. It's genuinely all-inclusive.
How long are the editions?
22 to 29 days depending on the destination. Minimum stay is 2 weeks, but most people join for the full edition. There's no real reason to leave early.
Is this just for solo travelers?
Mostly, yes. Couples can join, but the program is built around individual travelers joining a group. The community dynamic works best when everyone arrives open to meeting new people.
What's the group size?
Up to 25 people per edition. Small enough that you'll know everyone by name within the first few days. Large enough that you'll find your people within the group.
