The Home
The Offsite
The Offsite hosts curated remote work retreats in stunning global locations — from Swedish forests and Portuguese surf towns to Mexican beaches and Norwegian fjords. Each retreat combines structured work time with adventure, community, and intentional downtime.
The Experience
Retreats typically last one to two weeks, with a mix of coworking hours, outdoor activities (surfing, hiking, sailing), and community dinners. The format attracts a diverse group of professionals who want to break the routine of home offices and coffee shops.
Who It’s For
Digital nomads and remote workers who value both productivity and adventure. The Offsite works well for professionals who want a structured break from their regular routine, with the social and experiential benefits of travel built in.

Workspace
Work with a Global (rotating locations) Rhythm
Coworking included with reliable internet.
The Vibe
Structured mornings — coworking sessions with dedicated focus time. Afternoons shift to group activities: surfing, hiking, sailing, or exploring. Evenings are social — communal dinners and conversations that run late.
Activity-packed by design — each retreat builds in adventure days. Past weekends have included sailing trips, mountain hikes, and local cultural excursions.
Living in Global (rotating locations)
The Offsite doesn't commit to one place — that's the point. Past retreats have run in Ericeira (Portugal's surf coast), the Swedish archipelago, Oaxaca (Mexico), and the Norwegian fjords. Each location is chosen for its combination of work-friendliness, adventure access, and the ability to deliver experiences you wouldn't find on your own.
The rotating model means each trip has its own character. A Portuguese retreat means surf and grilled fish. Sweden brings midnight sun kayaking and forest swimming. Mexico delivers mezcal tastings and Pacific coast surf. The format stays consistent — structured coworking plus curated adventure — while the setting changes.
Since these are short-format retreats (1-2 weeks), the cost per day is higher than a monthly coliving, but you're paying for curation, meals, activities, and the logistical heavy lifting of a well-organised trip.
Ericeira surf week
Europe's only World Surf Reserve. Morning sessions at Ribeira d'Ilhas or Coxos, afternoon work, and fresh fish dinners in the village.
Swedish archipelago
Island-hopping by boat, forest hikes, and midnight sun. A completely different coliving experience from the usual tropical playbook.
Oaxaca food and culture
Mezcal tastings, Zapotec ruins, markets overflowing with mole ingredients, and some of the best food in Mexico.

Common Questions
What's the WiFi like?
50+ Mbps at each retreat location. Properties are selected with remote work as a core requirement — if the internet doesn't cut it, the venue doesn't make the list.
What's included in the price?
Accommodation, coworking space, most meals, curated activities (surf, hiking, sailing), group transfers, and community programming. Flights are not included.
How long are the retreats?
Typically 1-2 weeks. This is a short-format experience, not a monthly coliving. The shorter format means more intensity and curation.
Where are upcoming retreats?
Locations rotate and are announced a few months in advance. Follow their Instagram for the latest destinations — past spots include Portugal, Sweden, Mexico, and Norway.
Can I work a full-time job during the retreat?
Yes — the schedule is designed around standard work hours. Mornings are for focused work, activities happen in the afternoons and evenings.
