Living in Barcelona area, Spain

The Barcelona metropolitan area gives you access to one of Europe's most exciting cities while living at a slightly calmer pace. Depending on exactly where the coliving sits (near Barcelona, not in the centre), you get Mediterranean coast, nature access, and the city's cultural weight without paying city-centre rent.

Barcelona itself needs no introduction — Gaudi, the Gothic Quarter, La Boqueria market, a beach, and a food scene that ranges from €3 pintxos to three-star restaurants. The surrounding coast (Garraf, Maresme) has quieter beaches and proper nature. Penedes wine country is an hour south.

For nomads, Barcelona has a massive community — coworking spaces on every corner, weekly meetups, and a nightlife that runs late. The downside is cost: city-centre rent has skyrocketed. A coliving near (but not in) Barcelona gives you the best trade-off — nature and space at home, city energy when you want it.

La Boqueria & Born food markets

Barcelona's covered markets are some of Europe's best. La Boqueria on La Rambla is the famous one; Santa Caterina in Born is less touristy and just as good.

Garraf coast walks

Rocky Mediterranean coastline south of Barcelona with coves, lighthouses, and the Art Nouveau town of Sitges.

Penedes wine country

Cava (Spanish sparkling wine) is made here. Visit bodegas like Pares Balta or Gramona, about an hour south of Barcelona.

The Team

Founders

What's included in the price?

Accommodation, coworking access, communal kitchen, sustainability workshops, and community events. Meals are not included.

How do I get there?

Fly to Barcelona-El Prat (BCN). Cercanias trains and buses connect the surrounding area. Exact transport depends on the location — the team provides directions on booking.
