Work with a Medellín, Colombia Rhythm
Coworking included with reliable internet.
The Vibe
Mornings are flexible — some people start early at the rooftop coworking, others grab a coffee from a nearby café first. Work fills the core hours with the rooftop providing mountain views and good light. Lunch breaks often involve exploring the neighborhood together. Evenings bring group dinners — someone cooks or the house heads to a local restaurant.
Weekends mean day trips to Guatapé, coffee farm visits, hiking in the hills above the city, or exploring other barrios.
Living in Medellín, Colombia
Medellín has transformed from its troubled past into one of Latin America's most innovative and livable cities. The climate — called the 'City of Eternal Spring' — stays 20-28°C year-round thanks to its position in a valley at 1,500m altitude. No AC needed, no heating needed. Just open the window.
The cost of living is what draws most nomads. A full almuerzo (set lunch) costs COP 12,000-18,000 (€2.70-4), a craft beer is COP 8,000-15,000 (€1.80-3.40), and a private apartment in Laureles or Envigado runs COP 1.5-3M/month (€340-680). The metro system is clean and functional, and Uber works everywhere.
El Poblado is the default nomad neighborhood, but it's increasingly overrun. Laureles feels more local — better restaurants, fewer gringo prices, and actual Colombian culture. The city's tech and startup scene is real (Ruta N, the innovation district), and the nomad community is large enough that finding your people is easy.
Guatapé Day Trip
A 2-hour bus ride to a lakeside town with painted facades and a 740-step climb up a rock monolith for panoramic views. Bring swimwear — boat tours on the reservoir are part of the deal.
Comuna 13
The neighborhood that's become a symbol of Medellín's transformation. Outdoor escalators, incredible street art, and hip-hop performances on every corner. Go with a local guide.
Coffee Farm Tour
Day trips to coffee fincas in the surrounding hills. Learn the bean-to-cup process, taste fresh coffee, and see why Colombian coffee is famous.

Common Questions
What's the WiFi like?
100+ Mbps fibre — Colombia's urban internet is solid. Medellín in particular has excellent fibre coverage.
What's included in the price?
Room (shared, private, or ensuite), rooftop coworking, communal kitchen, shared areas, WiFi, and community events. Meals are not included.
How do I get there?
Fly into Medellín (MDE). The airport is 50 minutes outside the city — take a shared shuttle (COP 20k / €4.50) or taxi (COP 80-100k / €18-22). Uber works from the airport too.
Is Medellín safe?
The tourist and nomad areas (Laureles, El Poblado, Envigado) are generally safe. Use the same common sense you'd use in any large Latin American city — take Ubers at night, don't flash expensive electronics, and stay aware in unfamiliar neighborhoods.
Do they have other locations?
Yes — Co404 also operates in Oaxaca and San Cristóbal de las Casas (Mexico). Same intimate house format, different Latin American culture.
